Leadership change in the District of Basel

More than 500 brethren were present when on the 30th May 2010 the District Apostle Markus Fehlbaum retired the District Elder Rudolf Zurflüh

Rudolf Zurflüh served as a minister in the District of Basel for 41 years, 8 of which as a caring and sensitive District Elder.

The District Apostle ordained the hitherto District Evangelist Jürg Meier into the District Elder ministry.

The Divine Service was festively framed by the District Choir and Orchestra.

In his serving the District Apostle used a word out of Isaiah 62, 1 and pointed out that God will not rest, nor hold His peace, and will continue to prepare everything that is necessary so that His people will come to completion.
