A cheque for Hand in Hand - Africa

25.10.2010 / Herisau

The NAC donates 5000 Swiss Francs

In May 2010 the charitable organization "Hand in hand - Africa" was founded with the aim to help those in poverty, mostly children and young people in the Cape Town, South Africa region, in a permanent and sustainable way. The latest project, building a nursery school, aims to get children off the streets. They are then also able to prepare for entry to schools and to enable them, at a later stage, to have a real and lasting future.

The charitable foundation of the New Apostolic Church Switzerland (NAC) supported this project with a donation of 5000 francs.

A symbolic cheque was handed over by Caspar Ganzoni, Rector of the New Apostolic Congregation of Herisau (right) and received in great thankfulness by Markus Brönnimann (1st f.l.), President of the Board and Lilian Ebneter (middle), founder and treasurer.

The organisation „Hand in Hand – Afrika“ has no commercial purposes and therefore does not gains from such donations. It is exclusively dedicated to charitable work, is politically and religiously neutral and independent of any third parties.
